Mauricio J. Gutierrez Romero received his Master's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2011. He received his B.S in Civil Engineering from Instituto Tecnologico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterry (ITESM) in Monterry, Mexico in December 2005.

Professional Interests

Mauricio’s research focused on concrete crossties and fastening systems for heavy haul service in North America.
