Sam Chadwick is currently working on her PhD. Her interests include: research in the area of railroad safety, specializing in highway-rail grade crossings, and developing models to identify grade crossings with high risk of derailment due to grade crossing collisions. Sam is also interested in high speed rail construction, management and operations, and completed a one year internship with Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation learning about all aspects of HSR.
2013-2014 Henry Luce Fellow placed at Taiwan High Speed Rail Corporation
2012 AREMA Committee 12 - Rail Transit Scholarship
2010 American Council of Railroad Women Scholarship
