RailTEC staff, students and alumni participated in the spring 2015 AREMA Committee 30 meeting in Colorado Springs, CO. Based upon the RailTEC’s current research, the group was able to lead conversations that proposed updates to AREMA Chapter 30’s (Ties) Recommended Practices. Additionally, the group was also able to attend a field visit to the Transportation Technology Center (TTC) in Pueblo, CO where they were able to see standard rail industry testing performed.
