Successful PhD Defense

Brandon Wang, a RailTEC graduate student, successfully defended his PhD dissertation on Friday, 8 November. It was titled “Quantitative Analyses of Freight Train Derailments”. Brandon was advised by Professor and George Krambles Faculty Fellow Dr. Christopher Barkan. Also on his committee were Dr. Ray Benekohal (Illinois/CEE), Dr. Rapik Saat (American Association of Railroads) and Dr. Feng Liang (Illinois/Statistics). Congratulations, Brandon!
