Arthur Mellen Wellington, Influential Railway Engineer

Professor Christopher P.L. Barkan, George Krambles Director of RailTEC, was recently quoted in an Engineering News-Record (ENR) article by Scott Lewis discussing engineer and journal editor, Arthur Mellen Wellington (1847-1895). Wellington, considered the father of engineering economics, is one of the railway engineering heroes from the 19th century and his principles are still used in classrooms today.
