Professional Interests
Alex has worked as an Undergraduate Research Assistant in RailTEC’s infrastructure group for three years before joining the program as a Master’s student. His research focuses on improving the understanding of curved track performance risk elements and their interactions to assess overall curve risk under a variety of design and operational conditions. He finds satisfaction in improving railway infrastructure safety and resilience and hopes to make a meaningful impact to the US or UK & European railway networks.
