Professional Interests
Sam spent two summers interning at the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority in the Track Engineering Department. There he developed a strong interest in passenger rail, track buckle risk mitigation and track health monitoring. After graduate school, Sam hopes to bring what he learns back to passenger rail.
