Professional Interests
Xinhao received his BS in Civil Engineering and BA in Economics from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2021, and MS in Civil Engineering (Data Science + Transportation Engineering track) in 2023. He has been a part of the RailTEC’s Safety Group since his undergraduate career and he has been assisting the group on various projects involving railway data analysis and risk modeling. Xinhao is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Civil Engineering and MS in Applied Statistics at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and plans on pursuing a career that integrates artificial intelligence within the transportation field.
