Conrad Ruppert, Jr., Senior Research Engineer and Director of Research with RailTEC, was appointed to a Blue Ribbon Panel to assist the New York City Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA). He is part of a distinguished group of rail engineering and transportation experts, politicians and former US DOT Secretaries of Transportation. The panel was formed to assist MTA in a broad-ranging investigation into how they can improve their rail engineering and safety practices following several accidents this past summer.
