July 2015: J. Riley Edwards, RailTEC Research Scientist and Senior Lecturer, was honored on Sunday, July 19 as one of the railroad industry’s “Rising Stars” by Progressive Railroading magazine. He was chosen as one of 20 award winners out of nearly 200 nominees. This year’s honorees were chosen based on their contributions to the railroad industry, career achievements, demonstrated leadership, professional association activity or community involvement. Riley received the recognition during the annual conference of the American Association of Railroad Superintendents in Baltimore, Md.
