October 2015: The 17th Annual Railroad Environmental Conference, held October 27 – 28 on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus, was an exciting event. The expanded Exhibit Hall added 15 new exhibitors, the new room layouts provided maximum seating, and there was a 10% increase in registrations over last year. Over 530 on-site participants attended two full days of presentations by railroaders, consulting engineers, academics and others involved in all aspects of railroad environmental topics.
