January 2016: RailTEC students, faculty and alumni had a strong showing at the 95th Annual Transportation Research Board meeting in Washington, DC on January 10-14, 2016. Alexander Lovett, a graduate research assistant, received the NURail Center 2015 Student of the Year award at the CUTC Awards Banquet while Dr. Chris Barkan and Dr. Rapik Saat received an Outstanding Contribution Award for their article on Probability analysis of multiple-tank-car release in railway hazardous materials transportation.
