Professional Interests
Lokesh completed his undergraduate studies at the National Institute of Technology-Tiruchirappalli, India. Following his graduation, he embarked on a career at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, taking on the role of a Data Analyst within the Warehouse Operation teams. In this position, he collaborated extensively with the Logistics, Sales, and Operations departments, focusing on executing A/B tests and analyzing operational data to spot trends and inefficiencies. His passion for working with data led him to pursue further education in the field; thus, he enrolled in a master’s program at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. There, he deepened his knowledge through courses in Machine Learning, Data Mining, and Database Systems. Lokesh began his next chapter as a Graduate Research Assistant at RailTEC, starting in the Fall of 2023.
