Professional Interests
Matt is a graduate research assistant primarily focusing on railway capacity and advanced rail traffic control systems. He received his BS degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2021. During his undergraduate career Matt spent three years with RailTEC’s Railway System Operational Performance, Capacity and Efficiency group. He is active on the AREMA student chapter board where he is beginning his third year as treasurer.
